Războieni Convent

Location: Războieni commune, Neamţ County.
Abstract: Mănăstirea Războieni is a convent for nuns (mănăstire de maici) founded in 1496 by Ştefan cel Mare (Stephen the Great). Unlike most of the monasteries I visited, this one had no painted walls or ceilings.
Dedication: 8 November ("The Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel" day).
