Location: Aninoasa commune, Viforăta village, Dâmboviţa County.

Abstract: Mănăstirea Viforăta is a convent for nuns (mănăstire de maici) founded in 1530-1532 by Vlad V, restored in 1635 by Radu Mihnea, and rebuilt in 1635 by Matei Basarab. The present buildings date from the time of Constantin Brâncoveanu and his wife, Lady Maria. The iconostasis is sculpted by Karol Storck.

Dedication: 29 April ("St. George" day).
