Churches Album

This photo album contains photos of many of the churches and monasteries I visited during my June-July 2004 vacation in Romania. I did not visit all of the monasteries. There are 265 of them listed on the map "Romania: Map of Monasteries" by Amco Press we used; and many more that we discovered while driving that aren't listed on the map.

I sure hope I got the right names for the churches and monasteries. Quite often I was hopelessly lost and wasn't real sure which one I was visiting at the moment. In fact, there's one photo album that contains pictures of unknown churches and monasteries.

Because there are so many different churches and monasteries, I've decided to group them by the county (judetul) in which they're located and then alphabetically within each group.
